FanPilot, the program

This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it.

Your network only

The panel is served by your PC on your local network. A phone or tablet reaches it only after being paired with a QR code shown on the PC.

Only if you set it up

ntfy and Telegram alerts

Sent only to the topic or bot you configure, at most once every 10 minutes per alert, carrying only the alert and the PC’s name.

Home Assistant (MQTT)

Sensor readings go to the MQTT broker you configure, and nowhere else.

Prometheus /metrics and /api/v1/sensors

Read on your network only with a token you create on the PC.

PawnIO driver

On boards that need it, FanPilot offers to install it with winget and asks before changing the system.

Third-party services

If you turn on ntfy, Telegram or an MQTT broker, their own privacy policies apply to what you send them.

This website

No cookies, no analytics, no requests to other servers. Downloads come from GitHub when you click them.
